PLAN YOUR VISIT

The Emerald House is home to the Cape Cod Cape Verdean Museum and Cultural Center, located in East Falmouth, Massachusetts.

It is a historic farmstead representative of Falmouth’s rich immigrant history.

The Museum and Cultural Center act as stewards to the property and preserves and shares this legacy as many migrant workers were strawberry pickers who arrived on these shores from the Archipelago of Cabo Verde.

** !! Please note: Our Museum and Cultural Center will be CLOSED on Saturday, December 14th for the Curator to attend a conference at the Pedro Pires Institute for Cape Verdean Studies at Bridgewater State University celebrating and planning for our Republic of Cabo Verde's 50th Independence anniversary which will be on July 5, 2025.
